Our story

Built on love.
Grown on trust.

Paw & Tide Co. wasn’t born in a boardroom — it started with a teenage girl in Maryland who just really, really loved dogs. That passion hasn’t changed. Everything else has grown around it.

About Molly

From Clarksville to Charleston — a lifelong calling.

Molly portrait

It started in high school in Clarksville, Maryland — Molly Farrell was walking and sitting for as many neighborhood dogs as she could fit into her schedule. It wasn’t a job so much as a calling. Animals responded to her, trusted her, and she loved every minute of it.

“I never thought of it as work. I just loved being with them — and their owners trusted me. That meant everything.”

When Molly headed to Boston for college, she didn’t leave her passion behind. While earning her degree in Psychology, she built a loyal client base entirely through word of mouth and her own marketing instincts — proof that her dedication to quality care spoke louder than any ad ever could.

In 2020, the pandemic brought Molly back to the South Carolina Lowcountry — and what she found was a community that needed exactly what she’d spent years perfecting. Quality, trustworthy, personal pet care. She recognized the gap, and she filled it.

In 2022, Molly formalized her passion into an LLC, establishing Paw & Tide Co. as a professional, certified, and fully insured pet care business serving Mount Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island, and Isle of Palms. Today, she cares for over 50 beloved pets — and counting.

Her background in Psychology isn’t incidental — it informs the way she reads animals, builds trust, and supports the humans who love them. Every interaction is thoughtful, patient, and genuinely caring.

What we believe

The Paw & Tide way.

Relationships first

We don’t take on clients we can’t truly serve. Every relationship starts with a meet & greet — because trust is built in person, not on an app.

Consistency matters

Your pet thrives on routine and familiar faces. We show up the same way every time — because that’s what genuine care looks like.

Always communicating

You’ll never wonder how your pet is doing. Updates, photos, and open communication are part of every visit — always.
