Paw & Tide Co. wasn’t born in a boardroom — it started with a teenage girl in Maryland who just really, really loved dogs. That passion hasn’t changed. Everything else has grown around it.

It started in high school in Clarksville, Maryland. I was walking and sitting for as many neighborhood dogs as I could fit into my schedule, and it never once felt like a job. Animals trusted me, and their owners trusted me with them. That meant everything.
I never thought of it as work. I just loved being with them.
When I went to Boston for college I didn’t leave it behind. I earned my degree in Psychology and built a loyal client base at the same time — entirely through word of mouth, with no advertising at all. Doing the work well turned out to be the only marketing I needed.
In 2020 the pandemic brought me back to the Lowcountry, and I found a community that needed exactly what I’d spent years getting good at: exceptional quality, developing trust and genuinely personal pet care. So I built it.
In 2022 I made it official — Paw & Tide Co., a licensed, certified, fully insured South Carolina LLC serving Mount Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island, and Isle of Palms. Today I look after more than fifty animals, and I still handle most of the visits myself.
My Psychology background isn’t incidental to any of this. It shapes how I read an animal, how I earn their trust, and how I look after the people who love them. Every visit is thoughtful, patient, and genuinely caring — because that’s the only way I know how to do it.

Paw & Tide Co. is founder-led — Molly handles the majority of visits personally. When she needs backup, she calls on a small group of women she trusts completely, each one hand-picked for their kindness, reliability, and genuine love of animals.
