Good to know
Questions, answered.
Payment, scheduling, holidays, cancellations — the practical stuff, spelled out plainly so there are never any surprises.
How should I pay you?
Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check — any of those work great.
When is payment due?
Payment is due after services are completed. For overnight stays, that means the day you get home.
There’s a 24-hour grace period. After that, unpaid balances accrue $15 per unpaid day.
Do you charge extra on holidays?
Yes — there’s a $15 additional fee for services on a holiday. So an overnight stay for one dog on Christmas would be $95 rather than the standard $80.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancel 24 hours ahead and there’s no charge at all. Same-day cancellations are billed in full.
Do I have to do a meet & greet first?
Yes, and it’s free. Every new client starts with one. Molly comes to your home, your pet gets to sniff around and warm up, and the three of you talk through routines, quirks, and what your pet needs.
It’s not a sales pitch — it’s how we make sure the first real visit isn’t a nervous first day.
Who will actually be caring for my pet?
Molly handles the majority of visits herself. When she needs backup, it comes from a small team she has personally vetted and trained — and you’ll always know in advance who’s coming.
No mystery sitters. Ever.
What areas do you serve?
Mount Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, Daniel Island, Old Village, I’On, and the surrounding areas.
Just outside the lines? Reach out anyway — we’ll tell you honestly whether we can serve you well.
How do I book once I’m a client?
After your meet & greet, you’ll get a personal invite to Pet Pocket Book. From there you can schedule visits, see your history, and handle payments in one place — no texting back and forth to find a slot.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Paw & Tide Co. is a registered South Carolina LLC, established in 2022, and carries comprehensive business insurance. Molly is NAPPS certified and Red Cross certified in pet first aid and CPR.
